So this post is long overdue! I don’t know if you remember Rebecca and Dustin’s engagement session at Cantigny, but their wedding I never had a chance to blog. Their ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Woods in Orland Park, and if any of you have been around there, all there is really around there is woods! Forest preserve after forest preserve. So I did end up scouting out a few locations a few days before, b/c let’s face it, not all woods photograph beautifully. Since Dustin and Rebecca were not seeing each other before, we had to make sure that they didn’t run into each other either. We then headed off to the Bolingbrook Country Club for their reception. Their transportation ended up getting lost, so when they showed up, let’s just say the bridal party was in rare form. I think I actually have a photo somewhere of the bride walking in a field, and a groomsmen in front of her doing a hand stand. Unfortunately that didn’t make my cut here, but the whole group was so much fun. So being at a golf course, we decided to take the carts out to head over to a hole. This was hysterical. We actually ended up racing Dustin and Rebecca, and their poor cart was so slow! So I had to put a photo of that in my selections! Their wedding was so beautiful, but to add to it, for their first dance, they had outside on the grounds, and not known to any of their guests, a fireworks display went off in the background. It was so awesome! Bolingbrook County Club has never done that before for a wedding! Thanks Dustin and Rebecca for sharing with me that day. Enjoy part 1 of their photos!
