Genevieve + Jarrod :: Chicago Engagement Session

I hope everyone had a great Memorial Weekend, even if we had the worst weather ever!  I was suppose to post this session on Friday, but after photographing another e-session, I officially took some time off for Rylan’s 2nd birthday party and a short little vaca.  So sorry this is coming to you late.  When I met Genevieve and Jarrod for the first time, we instantly hit it off.  I felt like what they were looking for in their wedding photography was exactly me.  So I was really excited when they chose me.  Their story on how they met is awesome.  So Genevieve went to college here, but is not originally from here.  Jarrod lives in Arizona.  So how did they meet?  Jarrod happened to be in town on business, and one evening, out with their friends for a night on the town, both ended up at The Hunt Club, and the rest they say is history!  I love hearing stories about fate meetings.  Yeah, I guess you would say I’m a little sappy that way.  So for their engagement session, we ended up planning it for right before their wedding, all around town.  We had to make some minor changes to locations, but the rest I couldn’t have planned it better!   Here are some of my favorites.

Guys thanks so much for hanging out with me.  I’m glad I got to drive you around and show you some areas…hopefully it will persuade you to move out this way!  Check back soon for their wedding images at the Palmer House!

[…] for a LONG time!  If you don’t remember their story, visit their previous blog post from Genevieve and Jarrod’s engagement session.  They had family and friends who flew in from everywhere, which I always think is pretty […]
