I was so excited for this session! I love newborn photos. They are such little contortionists. I think that’s what makes it fun. Some babies like to be on their bellies, some don’t. Some will let you put there feet next to their heads, others are not having it. Little Lylah was like a Houdini, getting out of every blanket and “burrito” wrap I put her in. That’s just how it goes sometimes. I am partial to her name too, because it would’ve been one I used if Rylan had been a girl. You don’t hear it very often. This session was also special because it was a family affair. She had her Auntie and Grandma by her side watching over her for her first photo session ever. From what I saw, I don’t think it will be her last. Once we got her comfy and cozy, she did beautifully in front of the camera. We even used a rocking chair that Lylah’s Grandma used to rock her mommy when she was a baby. Love it! And no session is complete without a little poop and pee. And unfortunately one of the times was right on Daddy. All I saw was shock and awe. Somehow I don’t think that will be the last! Here are some of my favorite shots. Hope you enjoy!
