Well this past Friday I was part of a great bridal event held at the Metropolitan Club. I was among some of the best wedding vendors Chicago has to offer. Before heading to the Willis Tower it started to snow, which I have to say, did worry me just a bit. But that did not stop any brides from coming out and having a few drinks and mingling with wedding professionals.
I was, well, obsessed about my booth. I swear my husband was going to kill me if I mentioned this event one more time. I really wanted to do something fun, and by the comments I received, I think I managed it!
First, I do have to thank Marcia from An Urban Affair and Kelly from Fleur. Kelly donated a beautiful bouquet for my table, and also lent me this beautiful manzanita branch that I was able to hang my save the date cards from. It was a HUGE hit with the brides, and totally made the booth! Marcia helped me set up and actually stayed to talk to prospective brides, which at one point, I think she had a small crowd surrounding her. She had insight on my photos that was so different coming from a wedding planner versus a photographer, it was sorta fun to hear her speak. But I definitely could not have done it without her help, so thank you, thank you, thank you!
By the time I was set up, I started to take a few photos, when brides started walking in! So here a few from my booth, then I went and took some close up photos of the table setting by the lovely and talented Alexandra Jusino from Exquisite Weddings. I’m so glad I was finally able to meet you! The stationary pieces were all done from Peggy and Bill from Erickson Design. They are also one of the vendors that I am now going to be sharing space with in the city. I am super excited to be working with them!
Here is the infamous branch!

Thanks to all who stopped by to visit!
