Martha Stewart Wedding Party Chicago :: Chicago Wedding Photographer

Well this past Sunday we had the pleasure of showcasing at the Martha Stewart Wedding Party at the Ritz Carlton in Chicago.  What a great event this was!  I will have  a separate post on the make up of our booth, but wanted to show all of our favorite vendors that were there.  But first, the winner of our giveaway, a free engagement session and an 11×14 from the session.   Drum roll please…..Christy A!  Christy, give us a call and we can schedule something. Now onto the event!  We had such great vendors who participated.  This is the second time the show has been in Chicago, and it did not disappoint.  The show was put beautifully put together by Meghan Andalman from Lovebird Events and the talented Claudia Hanlin from The Wedding Library in New York City.  Some of the vendors that participated that we were able to grab a few photos for were: The Tie Bar, Magnificent Milestone, Bella Bridesmaid, Joan from Five Grain Events, Demetrios Bridal Salon,  Debi Lily from A Perfect Event, Toni Patisserie and Café, Meghan Andalman from Lovebird Events, BBJ Linen, Bittersweet, Penelope’s Press, Plate, Revel, Hello Darling, and Nika Vaughan Makeup Artist. If I forgot someone, I apologize!  Our booth got some rave reviews from vendors and brides.  It took A LOT of time an thought, and I have to give a huge shout out to my hubby James for all of his help.  I brainstormed this display for a while, and at one point I think he thought I was crazy.  Thank you so much for helping me get my ideas and craziness from paper to fruition.  It looked beautiful!  Also want to thank Nicole from Fleur Couture for providing all of the flowers and helping with the design and pulling everything together.   So we made some portable walls, and then painted them our signature blue from our studio on one side, and wallpapered it with a birch wallpaper on the other side.  We used some votive holder from CB2 for the wall, and adorned them with moss and flowers.  Our canvases were from White House Custom Colour.  We also made a test tube vase holder, you’ll see it on the long table from our booth.  That was super fun to make, well, watch my husband make I should say.  We stained it gray to match the studio colors as well.  I think my hubby was just excited to use all the tools that take up so much room in our garage, that he didn’t really care what I asked. Enjoy the photos!  Leave comments on what you thought of the booth!
