Sarah and Brian’s Engagement :: Chicago Wedding Photographer

Sarah and Brian came to me with the best idea ever for an engagement session.  Brian has been into wakeboarding for a while, and since him and Sarah have been together, he has now introduced it to her.  So I decided to break their session into 2 separate days.  First night we did wakeboarding since spending time on their boat is one of their favorite things to do, second night, some locations in the city since that’s where they live.  It was a ton of fun.  However, Brian blew me away with his wakeboarding skills.  I have never seen someone really wakeboard before, and since I’m a newbie to the whole boating thing, it was so much fun to watch them.  Brian gave a few tugs on Sarah’s suit to try to throw her off a bit, but she’s practically a pro now, it didn’t phase her one bit!  Plus, now they showed me a new place to launch that is super close to my house!

The second night we headed into the city near their home, and then off to North Ave. Beach.  It was perfect.  First time in a while it wasn’t a bazillion degrees out, just perfect.  I always categorize my clients as either smiley or serious.  Sarah is definitely smiley!  Sarah and Brian are getting married in 2013 at the Drake Hotel.  I’m so excited to be photographing their big day, and to be working with their event planner, the talented Kristina from Kristina Taheri Events.  For now enjoy their lovely engagement photos!  There’s a lot!
